Keith Waithe is an award winning flautist, composer, teacher and expert proponent of a vocal ‘gymnastics’ system. He is the founder and leader of the Macusi Players - a world music jazz band that blends rhythms from the Caribbean, South America, Asia and Africa. Keith mixes many sounds from his collection of over 204 flutes, fusing enigmatic musical forms in performance.

He established Essequibo Music to work in educational settings and, also works on radio productions, theatre and television projects.  Keith’s 8th CD, Gathering Echoes, has received excellent reviews.
