Looking for a band to march in London

Music

The Refugee Week Umbrella Parade is looking for a band to accompany the crowd as it marches through London to celebrate the protection of refugees.

They are looking for a drumming or samba band that can play carnival music, can walk with the crowd as they play, has around 10 players, and is loud enough for a crowd of 600 people. The event has a small budget, but will be able to pay expenses and a small fee.

The event is on Sunday 19 June from 13.30-15.30, and the parade will walk from Whitehall, across Westminster Bridge, and will join the Celebrating Sanctuary festival on the Southbank.
