motiroti Streets of Gold - call for new art commissions  

motiroti is seeking artists, new to the city, working across different art forms for creative proposals that bridge London's past with their current artistic practice.

4 commissions @ £2,500 each

Delivery period September to December 2011

Exhibition period January to April 2012

Hosted at the Museum of London Streets of Gold will be an installation presented in ‘Inspiring London' space, in Sackler Hall. The project will invite audiences to experience the city as seen through the eyes of its newest arrivals. Artistically led by Daniel Saul, the new commissions will reflect the synergy between the artists’ stories, ideas and practice and the city’s heritage to make a connection with London's past. We are seeking artists who are open to working collaboratively and creating works that sit within a larger context.
