Connected Culture - the network celebrating adult participatory arts
Aims:
• To encourage an exchange of ideas and practice
• To influence policy making across social, educational, political and cultural sectors
• To raise the profile and status of participatory arts within the media, with venues and with the wider arts sector
The network is establishing itself as a unique, 'bottom-up' policy influencing initiative, producing a sector-wide response to the increasingly turbulent operating environment.
Connected Culture continues to advocate for a diversity of approaches, art forms and practitioners to effectively mirror and reflect the communities worked with.
Connected Culture holds 3 events per year to encourage an exchange of ideas, practice and facilitate collaborations. Connected Culture also hosts the online network http://connectedculture.ning.com/
