Emadaltaay

I came to London less than a year ago as a refugee and have bee inspired by the colour and the energy in the city. I am an artist who paints abstract modern paintings. I love the movement of horses, the way in which they seem to dance. I like to show this in my paintings, their grace and their strength. When I lived in Iraq I painted scenes of everyday life, realistic paintings of what I saw. When I moved to London this changed. I wanted to show how I feel about my life here. The paintings are big and colourful.
